Notes from our School Council, Pupil Voice
The School Council have been very active and busy recently. In September the School Council was elected and includes:
Simon – Chair of School Council
Martha – Vice Chair
Jack - Clerk
Last term we decided to hold our charity week and we raised £203.17. Some of this money was donated to Breast Awareness and some to Children in Need; we also have are putting some into our School Council fund for the Toilet Twinning project.
Mr. Weston came in and we talked about our future plans. We should hopefully soon have a new piece to our PE/forest school uniform.
At Christmas we ran the School Hamper raffle, the money raised from this is being used towards a planned whole school treat in the summer term which will be chosen by the School Council.
Martha and Simon went to Nercwys School in the Autumn Term and took part in their Numeracy and Football sessions. They came back to Nannerch and asked the children if they would enjoy something similar here in Nannerch. Everyone thought it sounded good so Wrexham football club ran the sessions in our school last term for the juniors.
The School Council help oversee three committees these are:
Callum R J – chair
Ewan – vice chair
Martha – clerk
