Notes from the Head 4th October

The weeks seem to be flying by and we are certainly feeling the change in seasons now. The children are definitely thinking about ‘Autumn Days’ in preparation for the Harvest service. This will be on the last day of term 25th October 2.30pm in Church. All welcome!

I did think how wonderful the African Drumming workshop was last week and how the pupils could follow on from this...The iBeacon Digital Trail Launch certainly managed to do that.

The evening was a great success with the pupils showing how they had engaged with the community. The community as you would expect in Nannerch have fully supporting the enterprise and helped the children bring their history to life. This will be wonderful for them to look back on.

This project has really met the challenge of the new curriculum and a very big thank you to the staff for their hard work in supporting the pupils with the project. A very big thank you to Jo Danson for all she has done in the project. It was so good to see the Year 7’s come back to school to celebrate their part in the project. It was so lovely to see them present a beautiful bouquet of flowers to Jo Danson for her part in the project.
