We have had a short, but busy week!
This week Year 3 and 4 pupils have completed their reading and reasoning numeracy Welsh National Tests. I was very proud of the effort each pupil made. The children thought that they were 'tricky' and 'fun'... and they particularly like the chocolate buttons which Mrs John provided as a treat!
Year 3 and 4 thoroughly enjoyed reading with Mrs Western. It is always lovely to see the children's enthusiasm towards reading!
A highlight this week was beginning our new topic: Water. All of the children shared the great knowledge which they have gathered from their homework project!
Some of our favourite facts were:
The deepest part of the ocean is the Marianna Trench
71% of the world's water is salty
Drinking sea water can be deadly
I am looking forward to seeing all of the children's completed homework projects next week. It sounds like they have been working very hard!
Have a lovely weekend,
